I moved to Gatehouse seven years ago to live and paint in the unspoilt landscape of this quiet corner of Scotland. I studied Fine Art at Edinburgh University and Edinburgh College of Art, and trained as a teacher. Instead of mainstream teaching I moved into exhibition design and graphic design. As well as painting and giving art classes, I continue to work as a graphic designer from my base here in Galloway.
